At DealSettle, we believe in fair and clear pricing with no hidden charges. Our fees are designed to provide a secure, compliant, and efficient escrow experience while ensuring affordability for all users.

Below is the complete breakdown of our fees and pricing structure.

Escrow Transaction Fee

  • Flat 4% escrow fee on every transaction.
  • The fee can be paid by the buyer, seller, or split 50/50.
  • This fee covers secure fund holding, dispute resolution, and platform security.
  • Example of Escrow Fees:
  • If the transaction amount is $1000, the total escrow fee is $40.
  • If the transaction amount is $5000, the total escrow fee is $200.

The escrow fee is deducted automatically before releasing the payment.

Payment Processing Fees

DealSettle supports multiple payment methods, including bank transfers and cryptocurrencies. However, certain transactions may have additional processing fees charged by the payment providers.

  • Bank Transfer Fees – Varies by bank and payment provider.
  • Cryptocurrency Fees – Varies based on blockchain network costs.
  • Third-Party Payment Gateway Fees – May apply depending on the processor used.

DealSettle does not charge additional payment processing fees. However, users must cover any external fees imposed by their selected payment method.

Merchant Transaction Fees for Local Currency Payments

If a user deposits or withdraws funds using a local currency merchant service, additional charges may apply.

  • 2% additional fee is applied when using a local currency merchant to process escrow payments.
  • Users must receive and deposit the exact amount required for escrow transactions.
  • Any merchant-related fees must be covered by the user and are not deducted from the escrow deposit.
  • Example of Local Currency Fees:
  • If a user deposits $1000 via a local currency merchant, they must ensure that the full $1000 is received in escrow.
  • If the merchant service applies a $20 processing fee, the user must pay $1020 in total (to cover the fee and ensure $1000 is deposited).

Merchants do not cover transaction fees. Users are responsible for any additional charges imposed by their chosen payment provider.

Withdrawal Fees & Unused Funds

Users can withdraw funds instantly after an escrow transaction is completed. Additionally, users who have deposited funds but have not initiated an escrow transaction can withdraw their full balance at any time using the same payment method they used for the deposit.

  • Bank Transfer Withdrawals – Standard processing fees apply based on the user’s bank.
  • Cryptocurrency Withdrawals – Network fees apply (varies by blockchain).
  • Local Currency Merchant Withdrawals – Additional fees may apply based on the merchant’s terms.

All withdrawals are processed instantly, but bank transfer times may vary.

Dispute Resolution Fees

  • If a dispute arises, DealSettle does not charge any fees for standard dispute handling.
  • However, in cases requiring legal arbitration or extended manual investigation, an additional fee may apply (based on case complexity).

Security Deposit for Merchants

For those joining DealSettle’s Merchant Program, a $1000 security deposit is required as a protection fund.

  • This deposit is fully refundable at any time if the merchant decides to stop working with us.
  • If a merchant violates the agreement, this deposit may be frozen and used for platform improvements.
