Merchant Responsibilities & Requirements

To ensure a trusted, efficient, and secure payment collection system, all merchants must meet the following requirements:

  • Personal Identification & Verification: Merchants must provide government-issued identification for KYC compliance.
  • Video Conference Interview: A short verification call will be required before approval.
  • Security Deposit ($1000): Merchants must deposit $1000 as a protection fund, which can be refunded at any time upon termination of the partnership.
  • Daily Transaction Reporting: All payment collection details must be immediately updated in our system.
  • Merchant & Fees Details: Merchants must provide information on which payment methods they will use and their applicable transaction fees.
  • Status Updates & Withdrawals: Merchants will be added as support agents in our system to update payment statuses and process withdrawals on behalf of users.
  • Instant Payment Processing: The highest priority is to ensure fast and secure transactions, allowing users to withdraw funds instantly when requested.
  • Customer Support Availability: If our main admin team is unavailable, merchants may be required to assist users with payment-related queries.
  • Strict Compliance with Platform Rules: Merchants must operate strictly within DealSettle’s policies and cannot engage with users outside our platform.

Any failure to meet these requirements may result in termination of the partnership.

Earnings & Commission Structure

As a DealSettle merchant, you will earn 2% commission on the total transaction volume you process. This commission is paid by the user and is directly added to your earnings.

Example of Commission Earnings:

  • If you process $10,000 in transactions, you earn $200 in commission.
  • If you process $50,000 in transactions, you earn $1,000 in commission.

Merchants can withdraw their commissions instantly, just like regular escrow users.

Prohibited Activities & Rule Violations

To maintain the integrity of our platform, all merchants must follow these strict rules:

  • No direct contact with users outside the platform – All interactions must go through DealSettle.
  • No unauthorized payment collections – Merchants cannot collect payments outside of the DealSettle system.
  • No failure to update transaction details – Daily payment processing details must be logged instantly.
  • No holding back user payments – Funds must be immediately processed to prevent delays.
  • No involvement in disputes without authorization – Merchants cannot make unauthorized decisions regarding user funds.
  • No fraudulent activity – Any attempt to manipulate transactions, fees, or system processes will result in account suspension and fund seizure.

If any merchant is found violating these rules, their deposited funds may be permanently frozen and used for DealSettle marketing efforts. This will serve as a penalty for non-compliance.
